Find the Beautiful in the Unusual

Photos taken at the Holi Festival (Festival of Colors), this is a spring festival celebrated in India and Nepal, where all distinctions of social class are put aside. People celebrate in the streets, worshipping Krishna, by throwing rich handfuls of colored powders on eachother. Each person that bumps another then carries their colors.

If you happen to be curious about what the future home of your grandchildren might look like, take a glance this concept hotel called The Ark. Russian architect, Alexander Remizov, is the mastermind behind the project. He believes that his floating “slinky,” which can hold up to 10,000 people, can have multiple uses, including a safe house for disaster relief. The prototype’s main materials are timber, steel ,and high-strength ETFE plastic and it is built to handle land and/or water

Ocarina of Time is looking fine on the Nintendo 3DS
Nintendo have released a handful of new screenshots of Ocarina of Time 3D, and it’s looking great! There’s a Nintendo 3DS event going on in Japan this weekend, so hopefully we’ll get some more glimpses of the game over the coming days- maybe even video!
Unfortunately, there’s still no release date set for the game yet- it was speculated that it would be a 3DS launch title, but it seems that isn’t the case. Not in Japan at least, but cross your fingers that it is when the 3DS launches across the rest of the world in March.
